About
Curious by default, front end by choice.
I am a senior full-stack engineer in Vancouver, originally from France. I have spent over twelve years on the client side of data products, where the impact of the work is visible the moment it ships.
There is still something a little magical about watching an interface come to life and knowing it changes how someone gets through their day. That is what has kept me on the front end: it is where software meets people. I am most at home in React and TypeScript, and comfortable enough with Node, Python and databases to build the whole thing when a project needs it.
Curiosity does most of the steering. There is always something new in this field and I like that. I read, watch and build to keep up, and I have changed how I work more than once because of it. Lately that means AI assistants in the loop every day. They make me faster, and I still read and answer for every line.
This year that curiosity turned into something close to an obsession: AI agents, automation and the models behind them. I run two agents every day, Claude Code for the code and Hermes on a server under my desk for everything else, and I keep handing them more: health checks, backups, the report I read each morning, the notes in my second brain. I want to understand them, not just use them, so I am learning the fundamentals of machine learning a quarter of an hour a day, watching what each model costs, and planning a local GPU so my notes stay in the house. The part I find most interesting is not the model. It is the system around it: the rules, the history and the checks that make an agent safe to trust with real work.
I have worked remotely since 2018, with teams in Vancouver, Minneapolis and Austin. It taught me that clear writing, short feedback loops and showing up reliably matter more than any tool. Technical skills get you into the room. Communication, adaptability and solving problems together are what make a team good, and I bring those to every project on purpose.
These days I am a full-stack engineer at PolicyReporter, in Vancouver: healthcare policy data, which is to say a lot of it, and people who need the right part of it quickly.

02 — How I work
Three things I hold to.
Seven companies, two countries, more than twelve years. The tools kept changing. The way I work did not.
01
I own what I ship
I take a project from the first conversation to production and stay with it after. The architecture, the library choices, the code review, the bug at five on a Friday: all mine to answer for.
02
A teammate you can count on
Remote since 2018, with teams in Vancouver, Minneapolis and Austin. I am accountable for my part and open about how it is going: I write things down, ask early and say when something will be late, so nobody has to chase me.
03
A new tool, the same craft
AI is a new tool, and I use it every day to write, review and test code faster. It did not change ten years of good practices: small changes, tests, code review, and knowing every line I ship. Software is still a craft.
